Gravity Falls

For their summer vacation, 12 year old twins Dipper and Mabel are dropped off from their home in Piedmont, California to live with their Great Uncle (usually shortened to "Grunkle") Stan in Gravity Falls, Oregon. Things are not what they seem in this small town, and with the help of a mysterious journal Dipper finds in the forest, they realize that their everyday lifestyle has changed. With appearances from Wendy, Dipper's crush; Soos, friend of Dipper and Mabel and handyman to Grunkle Stan; plus an assortment of other characters, Dipper and Mabel always have an intriguing day to look forward to.

SEASON 1

The First Season of Gravity Falls officially premiered on June 29, 2012, but the first episode aired as a sneak peek on June 15, 2012. The season consisted of 20 episodes.

Twin brother and sister Dipper and Mabel Pines are in for an unexpected adventure when they spend the summer with their great-uncle in the mysterious town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. Upon their arrival, Dipper and Mabel's huckster great-uncle, also known as Stan Pines, enlists the siblings' to work at the Mystery Shack, a "fun" tourist trap he owns that overcharges unsuspecting customers, with no pay. Although Dipper and Mabel quickly discover The Mystery Shack itself is a hoax, they sense there is something strange about their new town and together they begin to unlock the secrets of Gravity Falls.

A series of Gravity Falls shorts were produced to air between Seasons 1 and 2, riding the momentum of the series' success.

Dipper's Guide to the Unexplained

Dipper's Guide to the Unexplained is the first series of shorts. They kicked off on October 14, 2013, with new shorts premiering everyday that week at 7:25pm EST.

The events of these shorts take place before "Gideon Rises", as Dipper still has Journal 3.

Mabel's Guide to Life

Mabel’s Guide to Life is the second series of shorts. They began on February 3, 2014, with new shorts premiering everyday that week at 7:55pm EST.

Fixin' It With Soos

Fixin' It with Soos is the third series of shorts. The first short aired on April 21, 2014, and the second short aired on April 22, 2014. It is the first new Gravity Falls content to air on Disney XD since the show moved onto that channel.

TV Shorts

TV Shorts is the fourth series of shorts. The first short aired on April 23, 2014, and the second short aired on April 24, 2014.

Mabel's Scrapbook

Mabel's Scrapbook is the fifth series of shorts. On December 24, 2013, the first short aired on Disney Channel Russia and on March 27, 2014, Disney XD Italy released the second short on YouTube. Both aired in the United States, on Disney XD on June 2, 2014.

SEASON 2

The Second Season of Gravity Falls was announced on July 29, 2013 by Eric Coleman and is set to premiere on August 1, 2014.

According to Alex Hirsch, season 2 will have some flashbacks of life before Dipper and Mabel were sent to go to Gravity Falls on vacation with Grunkle Stan. It was also said that characters such as Wendy, the teens, and Pacifica Northwest will have some more screen time and development in season 2. Bill Cipher and Blendin Blandin will also return in at least one season 2 episode.

Between the Pines (Special)

This is a half-hour special hosted by the Time Baby which introduces exclusive facts and information about Gravity Falls, featuring special commentary from Alex Hirsch himself.
